Building a Claude AI Valuation
Copilot for Wealth Management.
How Saena AI Group automated 1,000+ annual valuations without touching the expert judgment that makes each one defensible.
The Client
A US-based financial advisory firm completing 1,000+ valuations annually for wealth manager clients. The firm provides valuation, M&A advisory, compensation design, and succession planning services across a specialized client base.
The Challenge
The firm's valuation process was largely manual. Financial data was entered into Google Sheets by hand for each engagement — a highly repetitive process that consumed significant senior analyst time on mechanical work rather than the expert judgment that actually makes each valuation defensible. With 1,000+ valuations per year, the cumulative cost of that manual data entry was substantial. The firm needed a way to automate the mechanical work without touching the expert judgment — the methodology weighting, client-specific adjustments, and final number — that makes each valuation credible to wealth manager clients.
The Solution
Saena AI Group designed a phased engagement starting with a structured discovery to map the firm's valuation methodology precisely — documenting the comparables logic, discount rate selection, weighting approach, and the judgment boundary between what Claude could reliably handle and what needed to stay with the analyst team.
From that foundation, Saena AI Group built a Claude AI Valuation Copilot that captures and structures financial data automatically, generates the underlying valuation structure, and hands off to the analyst team exactly where expert judgment begins. Deliverables included:
- Documented methodology map — valuation process, comparables logic, and judgment boundary in writing.
- Configured Claude AI Project with grounded valuation context.
- Custom Claude Skills and artifacts replacing the manual Google Sheets data entry step.
- Claude Code and Claude Cowork setup for valuation structure generation and report drafting.
- Full documentation with a team enablement session.
The Result
The firm's analysts now spend their time on what only they can do — methodology judgment, client-specific adjustments, and the final valuation number — while Claude handles the mechanical work of capturing, structuring, and organizing the financial data underneath every engagement.
