A US-based healthcare investment banking firm with a 15-person deal team handling research, precedent retrieval, market analysis, document review, and transaction execution across a specialized client base.
The Challenge
Healthcare IB operates under conditions that make AI deployment uniquely sensitive: deal timelines are compressed, information barriers between buy- and sell-side must hold, NDA obligations govern what can be shared and when, and precedent transaction data is among the most sensitive material the team handles. The firm's SharePoint knowledge base was not accessible to AI in a permission-safe way, and existing workflows in HubSpot and email were disconnected from any AI capability. The firm needed Claude deployed correctly from the start — not retrofitted after the fact.

Phase 1: Compliance Framework
Established information barrier controls, NDA compliance documentation, audit logging, and a Claude AI best practices library tailored to healthcare IB.
Phase 2: Secure Integration
Connected SharePoint with permission inheritance intact, so Claude only accesses what each user is authorized to see. HubSpot and email were integrated via MCP connectors, bringing Claude into existing deal workflows.
Phase 3: Custom Skills Library
Delivered a firm-specific Skills library for research, precedent retrieval, market analysis, document review, and deal execution — built from real workflows, not generic templates.
The Result
The firm's analysts now have Claude working inside every stage of the deal workflow — from initial research through document review and execution — with governance controls that meet the compliance requirements of a regulated healthcare IB environment. Claude Enterprise does not train on client data, and all processing runs under Anthropic's enterprise data isolation.
